As a current public school teacher, I respect the seperation between church and state.  But I knew that when I opened my own preschool, I would want to be able to talk freely about God's love for our children.  Having known that, I also knew that the Bible can be quite graphic and well, let's face it, a bit confusing at times. (Which I gather is the reason why every church I know of has Bible Study classes!) If I can't understand everything the Bible is telling me, could I expect preschoolers to? What did I want 3, 4 and 5 year olds to know about God?  After much consideration, I decided that our focus would be on Christian values - specifically, how Jesus loves us and how God wants us to treat each other.  We talk about this a lot - in terms the kids understand.  As a staff, we have reviewed numerous Christian preschool lessons and scoured many Sunday School websites to find ones that could both exhibit these messages and that were also truly age appropriate.  These are the ones that have become part of our curriculum.

We have a very diversified family population representing many different denominations - some of our families attend church regularly and some don't and that's okay!  All children and families are welcome here.
