PROGRAMS
Our Curriculum
We are a developmentally appropriate preschool program that focuses on nuturing the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children in a Christian based environment. Children will enjoy art, music, circle time, dramatic play, physical play, and science explorations. Pre-reading, writing and math activities are part of the daily curriculum. We use the California Preschool Curriculum Frameworks as our foundation and supplement with program materials from Zoo Phonics, Handwriting without Tears (Get Set For School), and Math their Way. Of primary importance is helping our students to develop their social emotional competence and we do this through a systematic and evidence-based framework, the “Teaching Pyramid” that was developed by the Center on Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning.

parents
Parent participation program (optional)
You are your child's first teacher and we encourage you to continue to be an active part of his education as your schedule allows. We offer a discount on tuition for those parents who are able to contribute 4 hours per month to the program. This can be done in the classroom during our small group instruction and center time. A limited number of hours are also available by working at family events throughout the year or by working on projects at home. If you are interested in this program, let us know at the time of registration. (Volunteers are required to have a clear T.B. test, immunizations from pertussis and measles and fill out a confidentiality and health statement.)
In the event that you are unable to provide the required amount of time in any given month, you will be billed at the regular tuition fee.
Due to current recommendations in place to address the pandemic, this program has been suspended until further notice. We look forward to reinstating it soon.
